About Douglas J. Leedy
Dr. Leedy is a non-invasive cardiologist specializing in cardiac amyloidosis, cardio-oncology, and general cardiac care. Following his undergraduate studies at the University of Washington, Dr. Leedy attended medical school at Tulane University School of Medicine where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical school honor society. He then completed Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Washington where he was nominated Chief Resident. Dr. Leedy then went on to complete his Cardiovascular Fellowship at the University of Washington where he additionally trained and published numerous research articles in the fields of cardio-oncology and cardiac amyloidosis. He additionally holds cardiac imaging board certifications in Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. Dr. Leedy approaches patient care as personalized for every patient - helping them understand their condition and align the best treatment option with their health goals. He values every patient encounter, treating patients as if they were family and taking the time to listen.

I was treated with courtesy and checked-in promptly. I met Dr.Leedy, and he was very approachable, easy to talk with and a pleasure to meet. The visit was handled professionally, with knowl e due, understanding and consideration. He was kind but factual. He respected boundaries, but he was not terse or indifferent He asked me if I had questions of him. I thanked him for absorbing me into his practice. For me to have a cardiologist of the caliber of Dr.Leedy, is a privilege that I deeply value.
