I've always had a great experience with this doctor and her team.

Long wait time, no free parking, but easy to find, easy to access, kind staff and empathetic doctor

I really think her presentation about all the different medical ways to lose weight with surgeries and medication was very interesting and very well done. I especially found the names of the different medications interesting and how they work interesting. I appreciate the doctor explaining something I didn't know. Lots of these medications are exactly the same, but have different names for people who don't have diabetes and only need to lose weight. I know that is true, but I didn't know all the ones it applies to.

She was warm, kind, and listened very well. She was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain many things in great detail.

Dr Strother is very good at what she does. She is one of the most compassionate doctors I've met. She takes the time to explain the process makes you feel comfortable. I'm just overall so pleased with her bedside manner. I have recommended a couple of people to the clinic because of her care. She is definitely in the right profession.

Mine was a group video visit and my provider was excellent. It's the first time I have attended a video group with her and she was articulate, knowledgeable, caring and took the time needed for the group and listened.

Dr. Strother is the most well-rounded, knowledgeable, kind, professional physicians I've ever met. Well-versed in how autism presents in females, so speaking with Dr. Strother was effortless and safe as she uniquely knows how autism Impacts healthcare within her specialty. Dr. Strother's knowledge and awareness of neurodivergence makes her standout as a truly outstanding physician. I've never encountered someone with her level of excellence. She is an irreplaceable asset to the Swedish organization.

She wasn't nearly as through as my regular provider.Did not feel she was really interested in helping me. I felt she kept turfing/deflecting my questions to others. Felt my appointment was a waste of time and would aside ever seeing her again.

My appointment went fine, but the provider told me that there was nothing else she could do for me, and that I didn't need to come back..I was a little shocked because since my surgery, I have been coming to Swedish Bariatric for blood work, and to just check to make sure I am well. My provider said that I can just see my provider here in Yakima. So I guess that is what I will do.

Dr. Strother is an amazing doctor. She specializes in weight loss and in diet and has helped taught me to control this in my life. I started my program with her in early Spring of 2025, and recently graduated this month. Since then I went from 244lbs to 207lbs, a loss of 37lbs, and I feel great ! Thank you for everything offering this program at Swedish / Providence. I am very appreciative !
