I do my own research in scholarly journals before visits. Dr Dooms has current knowledge. He's also willing to listen to and think about research that I bring to the discussion. This is rare among physicians I've seen. I recommend Dr. Dooms often. Only problem is that he's booking appointments 1 year out. This discourages potential new patients.

Dr. Dooms explains everything very clearly. He is extremely knowledgeable on the subject of my particular issue and I'm very grateful that I have found such a kind, caring doctor. I believe he saved my life!

MD is very accommodating and answers questions respectfully. The medical assistant is very abrupt and I felt I was being rushed. Not friendly at all.

As a young woman, I do not feel as though I am taken seriously for my concerns. As soon as I mention one thing, my going on a diet, for example, the doctor assumes I am obsessed with fad diets, and then the whole reason I am there to update my allergies is pointless, and I never should have gotten a referral. I didn't feel heard, I couldn't speak my mind, I felt belittled, and I don't believe the test was executed properly, as certain needles were pressed in more softly than others. Then there was the lab tech who took my blood for the test. She seemed high and was rather odd about man-hating for no reason. It was out of left field, and I don't know what she was on about, I wanted for so long to get the test done, and I never want to go back to that location (Bellevue).
