This was a first time appt with Dr Higashi, and she was fantastic. She showed me the X-Rays and explained what was wrong with my joints/bones. She gave me options for future care and even made a temporary pad for my insole. I am very pleased with her and her assistant.

Superb podiatrist with excellent recommendations for needed supplies to cure problem. Very kind, attentive, understanding, and thorough.

Dr. Higashi's "bedside manners" are exceptional. She listens well and provides needed guidance. She responds on MyChart in a timely manner. The only issue is the wait time for an appointment which tends to be 2-3 months. Everything else was fine including the MA and X-ray technician.

As a retired teacher of biology, I enjoyed my discussion with the doctor regarding anatomical issues and possible solutions. She's very knowledgeable in her subject area and easy to talk with and listens well. More providers should have that combination of skills.

I received notice of a canceled appointment upon my call to schedule one and this was the best possible scenario for me. After seeing a different doctor two days before, I had serious concerns about the initial diagnosis and treatment plan. Dr Higashi confirmed my suspicions and made sure I understood the results of the x-rays and possible prognosis.

I've seen three podiatrists in the last 8 to 10 years. Dr. Higashi has been the most helpful. The only downside is that Dr. Higashi is booked out way in advance. You have to wait weeks if not months to get an appointment.

Dr Hagashi was well-versed with my foot/toe condition when I saw her for the first time on this visit. She had been referred by my primary podiatrist for a medical opinion, which she graciously and informatively provided. My overall experience with Dr. Higashi was good. I do believe that doctors need to listen to their patients a little bit more. I have a allergy to nickel, and when the rash started breaking out on my leg because of the hardware that was put in me had trace some out of nickels in it When I brought it to Dr. Higashi's attention, it was kind of dismissed as a follicle rash when I knew for certain it was not a follicle rash it took a week of my leg, getting worse and worse before somebody started paying attention to it once again overall, Dr. Higashi was a great surgeon and a great doctorI just wish she would listen more to the patient and their concerns but overall she was fantastic.

Getting an appointment was difficult as Dr Higashi is extremely busy. I was lucky and gained an appointment as my concern for my big toe being infected. Dr Higashi removed my toenail, provided information on how I needed to treat the area and made a follow up appointment that is much appreciated. She was kind and professional throughout a difficult process.
