I appreciated that while first visits are only scheduled for 30 minutes, when I noted that and wanted to prioritize my needs, provider told me not to worry about the time.

I did appreciate that she took the time to see me and I really did feel like she saw and heard me. Doctor has always helped me. When I first started seeing her, I needed her help. She cared about me, and she had sent me to a specialist when the medication she tried on me that didn't work. She had been conferring with him all the time before she sent me to see him. The medication they did decided on was best for me has worked for many years. This visit was my yearly check up.

My provider was ready with answers about my condition, it eased my mind.

Dr. Aikawa usually is friendly and respectful. This time she appeared stressed and hurried and yelled at me when I asked her what my last two blood pressure readings were. I did not feel respected by her and she seemed irritated by everything about my visit. I am considering limiting my visits to her in the future.

Excellent. Had a concern about blood pressure/pulse/heart. Was concerned about stroke or other heart issue. Was able to get into the doctor quickly. She's is knowledgeable about me and my situation. Was able to ask intelligent and as near as I can determine, not being a physician myself, relevant questions. Excellent attention.

This was my first time seeing this doctor, and I believe she sort of squeezed me in since I needed to see a cardiologist to be able to proceed with knee surgery. Sadly, with the holidays and the late notice that I would need this visit, even though I felt the appointment was timely, my surgery date had to be pushed out. But I am very happy to now have a cardiologist to call my own... Ha! I would be very happy to see this doctor again.

This provider isn't easy to talk to. I didn't feel very comfortable with them . This provider isn't very personable and that's something that's needed in a health care setting so the patient feels comfortable and taken care of.
