Dr. Benkers is a board-certified neurologist who specializes in neuro-oncology. She received her medical degree from the University of Colorado and completed her internship in internal medicine and her residency in neurology at the University of Washington. In addition, she completed a fellowship in neuro-oncology with Massachusetts General Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Insitute / Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Benkers’ clinical interests include primary and metastatic tumors of the brain and spinal cord, neurologic complications of cancer and clinical trials in neuro-oncology.
