The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. Responses are measured on a 10 - point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5 - point scale in order to display results in a 5 - star rating. Dr. Zhang was very nice in person, very professional, but also with a good sense of humor. I was quite pleased that he was the surgeon for my procedure, and also happy that excellent results were obtained at the completion of the procedure.
dr. Zhang was very abrupt and rude. he completely dismissed all of my concerns and ignored everything I had to say. literally the worst experience with a doctor I have ever had. I traveled a long way because when you've potentially had a heart attack at the age of 31, you want to see a great doctor. That's why I went to Swedish, because I thought they were the best of the best. unfortunately I had a VERY different experience and I was very disapointed and left with the same questions as I had before the appointment. I see this doctor again after my echocardiogram and I'm hoping my visit is better next time. honestly I would rather not see him again at all, but he ordered this test so he has to give me the results.
I went in to see my care provider for my annual heart imaging test. The test was well I was told, the imaging provider was excellent. After my imaging I had an appointment with my care provider to go over the results. My appointment was at 9:15 I got in the room with the assistant she did the vitals and then left me waiting for my provider for 30 mins. When he arrived he seemed flushed, hurried and upset. Apparently the imaging was not to his satisfaction stating he could not read the images but seems my heart function has decreased and wondering if I was having chest pains which I was not at that time. He seemed not to believe me which made me concerned what was going on. I told him I was walking, eating correctly and my numbers have showed I was telling the truth since all blood test came back with low everything. The provider then decided to schedule a treadmill with dye [...] to get another look. Which is fine. The whole appointment seemed hurried and inconclusive to me and I left feeling scared, worried and confused. I have seen this provider for some time and he has been pleased each time with my results and very professional. Maybe he was rushed and had other things on his mind as I know he is busy. I also got a notice from my chart with the test results that stated several items I did not understand which to me seemed I have a lot going wrong. [...] I have been coming to Swedish Hospital for over 20 years and this is the first time I have left feeling confused and scared about my heart condition.
Dr Zhang is the absolute best at what he does. The new aortic valve he put in has gone without a hitch. Couldn't ask for a better doctor for this procedure.
I had the feeling that things in the office were not as smooth as all previous visits... The Dr. was running behind. I guess my expectations of what we were to discuss were different from what he felt were necessary. The 10 minute follow up after such a lengthy and complex operation could have been just as easily handled by phone and saved me a trip to Seattle.
I have already told my friends and family that Dr. Zhang was the absolute, hands down, best Cardiologist anywhere and I would not hesitate to consult with him again. Two members of my family are making plans to see him.
I have total confidence in Dr Zhang and his team
