Dr. Mai Pham is a board certified surgeon specializing in general surgery and vascular and endovascular surgery. She is one of the top vascular surgeons in the Northwest and serves patients in Seattle and the surrounding area. Dr. Pham is an expert in the treatment of a wide array of vascular diseases. She has treated thousands of patients suffering from common vascular diseases, such as varicose veins, spider veins, and venous stasis ulcers. Dr. Pham also concentrates her practice on treating patients with more complicated vascular diseases using the latest minimally invasive techniques. For example, she has treated peripheral arterial occlusive disease for critical limb ischemia using only needles, catheters, and wires. Dr. Pham is also an expert in performing critical open surgical procedures, such as bypass grafts, with the goals of increasing circulation and saving limbs. During her years of practice, Dr. Pham has become an expert in treating many complicated vascular diseases, such as: • Carotid artery disease • Renovascular hyper-tension • Deep venous thrombosis • Abdominal aortic aneurysm • Peripheral arterial occlusive disease • Mesenteric arterial occlusive disease • Venous Insufficiency • End stage renal disease Education A graduate of The University of Oklahoma Medical School in 2000, Dr. Pham completed her residence in general surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. After completing her residency, she continued her education with a two-year vascular and endovascular fellowship at the University of Texas. She is also certified to provide training for other vascular surgeons and interventionalists in the area of endovenous ablation and percutaneous arterial revascularization using various modalities. Seattle Vascular Health Practice Dr. Pham has practiced in Seattle since 2007. She has handled many referrals from her colleagues in Washington and Alaska, and has become recognized as one of the top vascular surgeons in the region. Dr. Pham has helped countless patients improve their quality of life with improved vascular health, healing chronic ulcers and saving hundreds of patients from needless amputations.
