I didn't feel he took me at all seriously. He didn't seem to believe my condition was real or warranted any real concern and made me feel like I was basically wasting his time. To be fair it is an intermittent condition that we could not replicate during the visit but the end result is me being no better off after the visit than before. I am sure he is very knowledgeable but not a good fit for me as a physician. Google gave me a better probably diagnosis and I hate being a Google doc

[...] I choose not to answer the above listed questions but I want to let you know my overall sentiment about that visite. (Previous unanswered questions were also a choice.) I did not feel that the care provider was interested in understanding my issues. I went there because I was experiencing burning urination. I told him about that, and he told me about a pregnancy test the nurse was doing. I told him that I did my own test and it was positive. He said he did not understand why the burning sensation and he could order some STD tests and I did not agree with that. He also told me that he could not give me antibiotics because he couldn't see the issue with me. I left that consultation feeling like the doctor thought I came there to bother him with non important issues. I met with him for about 5 minutes (I could be wrong since I didn't time our meeting), and I still feel like he dismissed me. Three days after meeting him I started bleeding, and consequently got a miscarriage. I do not blame the doctor for this situation but feel like he could have at least took me more seriously, which I feel did not happen.

Dr. Kachner admitted that he is not an MS specialist and that many [...] questions involved specialized care for both the MS issues as well as [...] new diagnosis of a brain mass. [...] only needed to select a PCP for referral to the Swedish MS Center and Dr. [...] and for any future routine illnesses that a PCP would provide.

I have an unusual condition, and I get the impression the provider either does not understand the condition and the severity of it, or just does not believe me how severe it is.

with several conditions I understand he can not be an expert in all but continuity of diagnoses from previous doctors and history changed.

I have a somewhat unusual condition. My doctor was not familiar with my condition, so had a difficult time deciding how to proceed to treat it.

Dr. Kachner is both arrogant and neglectful. He makes false promises, causes unnecessary mistakes, and fails to respond to any attempts to resolve such mistakes.

He was curt and slightly brusk he seemed disinterested in me as a patient. I left feeling like I was treated like livestock by a veterinarian.

Dr. listens - does not rush you - discusses, rather than dictates measures to be used & addressed.

DR. K.ACHNER IS NOT YOUR EVERYDAY ALLOPATH. HE ACTUALLY LOOKS BEYOND THE BANDAGES AND ASPIRINS AND SEEKS TO FIND CAUSES SO HE CAN RECOMMEND CURES. [...]
