Patient Ratings and Comments

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. Responses are measured on a 10 - point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5 - point scale in order to display results in a 5 - star rating. My past experiences with other male Doctors from other organizations has been poor to say the least. Dr. Bourne is the best OBGYN Doctor that I have ever had in my entire life. He is very patience and explains the issue/problem clearly, and then allows me to process and make my own decisions that is best suited for me at that time. I don't feel rushed in my appointment. I would highly recommend him to everyone!

The physician demonstrated up-to-date knowledge, and could articulately discuss recent research findings with me. He answered my questions, and I feel confident in his expertise.

I must say, I was on the fence about him until this visit and was planning on changing doctors. He was great and will remain my doctor.

if only dr Bourne was a general dr, then I could see him more often! he is one of the most compassionate and understanding persons I have ever encountered. He listens to all of his patients (I have friends who see him) and makes them feel like their questions and concerns are all that matter. He is there for OB issues, but you leave feeling like you just had a mini counseling session. He is a rare find and I have the utmost respect and trust in him.

I really like Dr. Bourne. Ob/GYN appointments can be awkward with a male doctor, but they are not awkward with him at all. He is very friendly, respectful, explains things thoroughly (without going into superfluous detail) and makes sure all my questions are answered.
