The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey.Responses are measured on a 10 - point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5 - point scale in order to display results in a 5 - star rating.Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

I was never told when I should return. I should mychart and ask.

Dr. Mia and I had met for the first time and she was reviewing information that was 7 years old. Her information was different from what I had been originally told but until the new tests come back I am ok with what she shared so far.

I would hesitate due to the scheduling issues. If I refer someone and they go through the same thing as I did it will look bad on me.

very good doctor, one of the other doctors is not avaible so Dr Mai took right over and is working on treatment. Dr. [...] referred me to doctor Mai both are great doctos

provider has poor bedside manner. she refused to adequately listen and interrupted you when speaking. Basically gave me the impression I was wasting her time. my doctor sent me to her. I was treated or made to feel as if mine or my doctors concerns were not of importance and that her findings were good. I felt that she did not like anyone 2nd guessing her work when brought to her attention.

[...] wait time to long

She informed me of things about my condition I was unaware of.

I go to all dr. visits with [...]. Dr Mai gave the diagnosis, which I know is not an easy thing, but she had no suggestions for resources I should reach out to or support options for [...] or for me, as her care-giver. Maybe that's not her job, but it would be nice to have a resource available, such as a social worker, who can provide suggestions of places/organizations to reach out to for assistance or suggestions for how to live with the diagnosis and care for those with the problem.

[...] Dr. Mai and her staff are amazing and care about their patients [...] going to her office to be seen by her is well worth the wait.

Excellent Doctor and a great support staff.

Provider appeared bored, disinterested in issues I've dealt with at length. She scheduled me w/a doc for some tests I SPECIFICALLY requested w/a DIF. practitioner??? - Wasted time - mine & staff - rectifying situation.

very good experience though sharing my problem with doctor.

I am not even sure why I needed to make this appointment. The purpose was to go over the results of the catscan. But this was not done. The only thing mentioned was that I could wait two years before making another appointment for a catscan. When I tried to describe a recent medical episode, her response was, "Well, I don't know what I am to make of all that." That was it! End of appointment! We did not even go over the results of the scan. It was all over in less than ten minutes after I waited 15 minutes in the patient room.

This provider dismissed my concerns a couple of years ago, telling me to return when I wanted to start medications. I needed an appt due to increased frequency of symptoms and wanted someone else in this group but this provider had the only opening within 2 months of my call. Dr. [...]'s 1st available appts were >3months out. It appeared Dr. Mai had not looked at the outside records contained in my chart to have a clear grasp of my medical condition history. She stated she was relying on the prior dx I had told her of at my visit in Jan 2015. This is disappointing. I feel that relying on self-report, for someone whose condition has impacted memory, when the medical records from various specialists are contained in the chart seems irresponsible. My Jan 2015 appt left me feeling I'd wasted my time & $$. The chart not having been read prior to my most recent appt. extends my concern for receipt of competent & compassionate care.

Took way too long to get appointment and then only further referrals to associates who can't see cause no appts.

I think Dr. Mai might have saved my life! Great person.

when I was really sick years ago, she went out of her way to help me - she helped more than I would every expect a neurologist to - will always recommend her

Exceptional doctor with concern and knowledge and working with me.

Dr. Mai was always late. While I felt she gave me good information during my initial visit she was 2 1/2 hrs. late. I purposely scheduled my f/u visit early morning hopeful she would be on time however she was still 45 - 1 hr. late. My apt. was an 8:40 AM apt. When she entered the exam room she seemed rushed, quickly reviewed the results of one of my tests but never shared the results of the additional test ordered until I reminded her.

Horrible doctor not up to Swedish standards. Very uncaring no sincerity at all. Wouldn't even have eye contact. I've have seen two doctors since and both said she was wrong. Very mean spirited left in tears.
