Movement Disorders Program
The primary mission of the Swedish Movement Disorders program is to listen to every patient with compassion, examine thoroughly, give clear explanations, provide choices, address questions and treat each patient with respect. We strive to provide the best care possible to each of our patients at any stage of their condition and aim to push the care of movement disorder patients forward with innovation, investigation and collaboration with our multidisciplinary experts.
The Swedish movement disorder specialists treat adults and children with many different types of movement disorders, such as:
- Essential tremor
- Huntington’s disease and other disease with Chorea
- Parkinson’s disease and atypical parkinsonism
- Restless leg syndrome
- Tourette syndrome/ motor tics
- Wilson’s disease
