Take control of your diabetes

Continual education is essential to maintaining good health. Our certified diabetes educators work with you and your doctor to create an individualized comprehensive education program. At the Swedish Diabetes Education Program, we:

  • Teach a variety of self-management skills
  • Provide the latest information on medication management, insulin-injection techniques, meal planning, exercise and dealing with stress
  • Help you manage all types of diabetes, including gestational diabetes that occurs only during pregnancy

In addition to individual instruction in diabetes self-management, the Swedish Diabetes Education Program offers a variety of classes in Seattle, the Eastside and Edmonds. All classes are taught in English; interpreters are available for individual sessions.
