Operational Changes to Prioritize Patient Safety
Masks are required
All patients will be required to wear a mask for the visit to ensure the safety of other patients. If you do not have a mask, we will provide you with one. If you are unable to wear a mask for a medical reason, please let us know immediately.
How to be seen
Appointments are preferred for patients exhibiting COVID-19/flulike symptoms: call 425-673-3500. All other patients will be seen on a walk-in basis only.
New check-in process
Upon arrival at Swedish Edmonds Urgent Care you will be welcomed by a greeter who will provide you with further instructions.
- The check-in process and other components of your visit will be completed by phone.
- When an exam room is ready for you, you’ll be contacted and greeted by a medical assistant who will provide you with a mask if needed and hand sanitizer.
Visitors are not allowed unless the patient requires assistance. Any support person will need to be free of symptoms within 24 hours of the visit, or they will be unable to attend with you. The support person will be required to wear a mask and the clinic will provide one if needed.
Precautions taken by all clinic staff
Staff are screened on a daily basis for symptoms which includes temperature monitoring. Staff are also required to wear a mask at all times while in patient care areas and are required to perform effective hand hygiene.
