As of April 4th, 2016 the physicians and caregivers of Minor & James will be joining Swedish Medical Group, or Proliance Surgeons. Most patients will not experience any significant changes. You will notice changes to the practice name, and to medical and billing forms.

- Audiology, Gastroenterology, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology, Podiatry and Urology.

Proliance Surgeons is one of the largest surgical practices in the country. The Seattle divisions work collaboratively with Swedish Medical Center.
Most providers will be in the same location and maintain the same phone number. There are two exceptions:
- Minor & James OB/GYN will be moving to a new location:
1101 Madison Street, Suite 700, Seattle, WA 98104.
They will also have a new phone number:(206) 215-6300.
- In addition, Oncology and Hematology providers will be moving to a new location:
1221 Madison Street, Arnold Pavilion, Suite 1020, Seattle, WA 98104.
The phone number for this clinic will remain the same (206) 386-9501.
Yes, this transition will not affect or limit a physician’s ability to refer to various providers.
Yes, all of the specialties are staying on the same Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and will retain access to MyChart.
Patients will not need to register again unless it has been over 12 months since last registering.
Swedish Medical Group accepts the same insurance as Minor & James Medical. Proliance Surgeons accepts mostly the same insurance providers. For questions/confirmation, please contact your insurance carrier.

In general yes,as all providers will still be on the same form of electronic medical record system (i.e., Epic).
