Geriatrics Lunch Series Schedule
The Geriatrics Lunch Series is the central teaching conference of the Geriatrics fellowship. This small group format (consisting of faculty and fellows) relies heavily on discussion of current cases, review of the latest evidence, and practice improvement. It includes several “mini-series” such as the Geri Basics Series (led by Dr Rubenstein), the Ethnogeriatrics Series (led by Dr Ainsworth), and the Palliative Medicine Intro Series (led by the entire Geri faculty). During the residency interview season (December and January), faculty are needed elsewhere, and fellows participate in an independent “Reading and Review” series in preparation for their board exams. The last Thursday of the calendar month is our Multidisciplinary Team Meeting, which includes our nurses, social workers, and administrative support staff.
