Culture of Safety
Safety is our most important value - first, do no harm.
Swedish is committed to a culture of safety. We use the Shared Leadership model to develop the leadership, staff and medical-staff tools called a Safety Bundle.
**As of mid-2019, Swedish has switched to a new program, Caring Reliably. To register for this program please visit the Swedish Intranet page and scroll to the bottom for Caring Reliably class registration information and website. This must be accessed by a Swedish computer or on the network.**
Register online to attend the Culture of Safety: All Staff and Medical Staff Training. *This training is only available for Swedish medical staff members, employees and contractors.
You'll learn about the safety culture and practice your new skills in team practice sessions. These three-hour sessions are offered at the Edmonds, First Hill and Issaquah campuses.
