About William Anderson
Dr. Anderson believes in treating the patient and not just treating a diagnosis or imaging study finding. His approach to patient care emphasizes listening to the patient in order to understand why he or she is there and what the patient is looking to achieve through the course of their treatment. After performing his evaluation, Dr. Anderson seeks to educate the patient about his or her condition, explain treatment options, and work with the patient to establish a mutually agreed upon treatment plan so as to empower the patient to be an active agent in their own care. In addition to managing the acute problem, Dr. Anderson also recognizes the importance of lifestyle and risk factor modification in order to promote overall health and reduce the risk of future injury and loss of function. Dr. Anderson was selected by Seattle Magazine as a Top Doctor in 2022.

Excellent care that I very much appreciate.
The gentleman who checked me in at the front desk was very pleasant, helpful, and professional. My doctor was absolutely amazing! It was my new patient appointment with him and he took the time to listen carefully to everything I said and performed a thorough but gentle physical exam of the areas that were bothering me. His communication was excellent! He explained his findings and recommendations In a way that was easy to understand and even reviewed my x-rays with me. I'm so glad I was referred to Dr. Anderson. I know I'm in good hands with his care.
My provider is the best in all areas
Dr Anderson is a very good doctor and always listens to you and helps a lot and tries his best with your situation
Goood Dr was thorough and explained answer clearly.Bad: Long wait time in exam room.
Dr listen to my concern and response with what is needed X-ray and therapy and follow up
Dr Anderson is an excellent, knowledgeable, professional caregiver. He asks, listens to my conditions and concerns. He offers constructive treatment options. He,s one of the best doctors on my care team.
Provider recommended a comprehensive program to deal with my issues, which included a number of very effective home care exercises.
Dr. Anderson did a great job listening, hearing, and providing very helpful responses. As much fun as you can have while being stuck with electrified needles!
He always helping me with my condition.
I have been pleased with the care I've received from Swedish.
Love my team during any visits
Dr.Anderson listened to me well when I explained my conditions.
Dr Anderson listened carefully to my concerns and did a thorough examination.
The direct experience with Dr. Anderson was very good. The only issue that I had was that it took 2.5 months to get an appointment with him after I set it up. I was a first-time patient with him, so that may explain the long wait. If I had had a more urgent problem,I would have had to find a different provider. But my appointment with him went well.
I felt like this provider could not have cared less about my issues.
I do appreciate the Dr's that are on " my team"
I always receive impressively professional, knowledgable care from Dr. Andersen and his assistants.
All good thank you
He has done an fairly good job. I think he could do a better job recognizing how a long ago previous injury impacted and played into problems I am having now. My physical therapist does recognize It, and In face pointed It out, and is treating me from that perspective.
Dr. Anderson is the best doctor I've ever had. I will continue recommending him to friends and family.
Very happy to have such caring people on my side
Very professional and knowledgeable. Listened well and made suggestions for my care.
I honestly felt like he was not clear on my symptoms and history during the visit. He seemed very competent at the procedure and knowledgeable but maybe he's a little too busy?
Dr. Anderson always gives me good care.
I am fortunate to have Dr Anderson as my physician. For years I have sought him out for general medical advice outside his specialty. Dr Anderson listens to my questions, plus suggestions I had thought a possibility In my own care. Dr Anderson is able to either explain the alternative process or the 'whys' my suggestions would not apply to my multitude of health issues. He had listened to my constant disagreement to any of his evaluations In the early days. I have faith in Dr Anderson's collected knowledge.
He seemed a bit overworked. I appreciated the information he knew and shared with me. It was very helpful
Dr Anderson is extremely knowledgeable, professional and overall a great doctor. I've been seeing him physically or virtually for a few years. His treatment plan has made a difference in my life. I recently referred a friend , he is now also a patient for his spine problems. I am very happy with the care I receive.
The doctor definitely was professional and competent, just not overly compassionate. It was a painful test
I'm satisfied with my visits.
Very comfortable talking to Dr. Anderson and I got what I expected about my symptom.
Very informed and professional!
I left feeling very dissatisfied after my consultation with Dr Anderson and will not go back to see him again. He was not very proactive in providing information, did not walk through my imaging with me and explain the findings. I felt like I had to work hard to get the information I needed, had to keep asking questions because he was not very forthcoming with information.
Dr. Anderson has been very instrumental in my healing. He is an important and well appreciated as a part of my life saving team. I am forever grateful.
My care provider Dr. Anderson is dynamic and a 10 on a 1-10 scale
He listens and took notes
I thought the provider referred to in this survey was capable and the test he administered provided information that I need to improve my quality of life.
Timely, courteous, helpful.
Thorough spine evaluation & clearly non-surgical problem as considered most likely. Did agree that PT would be useful. But would have appreciated more specific attention to potential problems with scoliosis in terms of balance and need for strength, posture, prevention etc training.
Experiences have always been good. Concern and interest were shown at resolving my issues of back pain and possible solutions,
Dr. Anderson I a great spine specialist and has been very helpful.
Very through in his approach.
All okay other than having to wait 30 minutes from my scheduled appt before doctor could meet with me. Dr. Anderson and his nurse were both great; some of the front desk staff (women) seemed a bit stressed though.
Dr Anderson is a professional, knowledgeable, understanding specialist. He offers solutions, listens, follows through. He always replies to mychart inquires in a timely manner.
As I undergo multiple health care needs including cancer treatment I have been impressed and comforted by the expert care shown by all who help with my treatments.
This provider lacks a good "bedside" manner. His approach is just matter-of-fact, not one bit caring or compassionate.
My provider seems to be very patient, and knowledgeable in his fied.
I believe Dr. Anderson is trying a range of approaches to try to resolve my back issue.
Friendly, respectful and efficient. Took care of the immediate problem and next steps.
Never had any bad experiences within the provider is excellent on explaining the situation at hand and what he's going to do
Dr. Anderson was great. It did take me a few months to get this 1st visit with me. He is popular. Loved him.
The process was efficient, and I was very happy to be able to get testing the same day. With a very fast response regarding testing and physical therapy. Follow up from doctor were was quick and effective. He was great!
Very thorough examination and I felt Dr. Anderson was interested in the best outcome for me.
Just painful but nessasary the Dr is clean very comfortable to talk with..
Greeting at the desk was nice, a nurse was very kind, the doctor also listened to my Issue and explained very well and easy to understand.
Dr Anderson gave me very clear answers to my questions. His examination was very thorough.
