Cardiovascular Research

Research has played a major role in the Swedish Heart & Vascular Institute's growth and progress. In fact, one of the few privately funded Heart and Vascular research programs in the nation is part of the Heart & Vascular Institute. It gives qualifying patients access to clinical trials that are available at few other places in the country.

Our research investigators have helped raise the Swedish Heart & Vascular Institute's research program to greater national and international prominence through research and day-to-day interaction with patients and peers. The Heart and Vascular research team is involved in over 90 ongoing clinical trials.
