Swedish welcomes Diankha Linear to Board of Trustees

Swedish is pleased to announce that Diankha Linear, JD, is joining the Swedish Board of Trustees. Linear begins her board tenure on March 9, 2021.

I look forward to her leadership and counsel as we work together to continue to provide high-quality care to all our patients and serve as our community’s trusted health care partner.”
 
Linear’s career reflects proven success in developing business strategies and delivering results for Fortune 500 companies as well as technology startups. As general counsel and corporate secretary of Convoy Inc., one of Seattle’s fastest growing tech startups, her accomplishments include executing on Seattle’s largest venture capital financing transaction in over a decade. 
 
Prior to joining Convoy, Linear served in leadership roles at Nordstrom and Expeditors International of Washington. She is a graduate of the University of Washington and the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Her education and training include 16 years of military service in the Army (Airborne) Logistics & Transportation, Civil Affairs – Special Operations Forces Unit and as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) officer.
 
Linear brings significant governance experience, having advised corporate boards and served on numerous boards. She is currently a trustee, officer and executive committee member of Rainier Scholars, an organization that creates transformational opportunities for aspiring college students who are highly motivated. She has also served as board chairperson of Habitat for Humanity Seattle/South King County, Lake Washington Girls Middle School and the Loren Miller Bar Association.
 
Linear grew up in Seattle and has deep roots in this community. Throughout her career, she has been an active leader and advocate for equity, youth and education. Diankha was featured as a Daring Woman in the November/December 2020 issue of Seattle Business magazine.
