Jeffery Robert named new chief operating officer for Swedish Issaquah

We are pleased to announce that Jeffery Robert assumed responsibility for the leadership of Swedish Issaquah in October 2016. Chief executive, Rayburn Lewis, M.D., retired from Swedish Issaquah on Nov. 25, 2016.
“Jeff’s experience and leadership skills will serve Swedish Issaquah well,” said Joel Wasserman, vice president of Medical Affairs for Swedish Issaquah. “We are excited to have Jeff as part of our family and look forward to the leadership he will bring to the campus.”
As chief operating officer, Jeff is responsible for the daily operations of the Swedish Issaquah campus. Jeff also has responsibility for the Research Division of Swedish Health Services.
Jeff has served as chief strategic officer for the Southwest Washington region of Providence Health & Services since 2006. He was the founder of Providence Medical Group within that region and shepherded the evolution of the region’s service lines, including neurosciences, cardiovascular, oncology and orthopedics.
He also brings more than 25 years of experience as a health care executive, having previously served as chief operating officer for Pacific Medical Centers in Seattle, senior vice president of operations for Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver, WA and vice president at Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital in Whittier, CA.
Jeff holds a master’s degree in Public Health – Health Services Management from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science – Physical Therapy from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
