Participants will be introduced to  TeleHealth, including innovations, application, advocacy and legislation.  The program will cover clinical applications, program development, organizational structure, limitations, and the challenges of implementing new technology.  Attendees will also be introduced to standards, guidelines and regulatory issues related to TeleHealth.  Clincial platforms covered will include acute care, clinic to clinic, direct to consumer and web-based workplace, digital health, hospital to home and remote monitoring.  After completion of this course, participants will be familiar with the benefits and challenges related to the design, development, and implementation of a successful TeleHealth program.
