PATIENT RATINGS AND COMMENTS

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey.Responses are measured on a 10 - point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5 - point scale in order to display results in a 5 - star rating.Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

She seemed a little scattered at first when reviewing my medical records I brought, but patiently answered all my questions.

Not enough time spent at appointment. Not able to schedule follow up appt as directed by the doctor. Schedule is always full and instead of 3 month return follow up as doctor directs, the first opening is 6 months away. For Parkinson patients this is very much and issue and creates more anxiety !!

Dr Ro herself called on a Saturday to inform that she has family emergency and next Monday's appointment has to be rescheduled. Even though she had family emergency but cared to call her patients !

It was a waste of time. The provider looks unprepared. Looks like we provided her to much information to handle - not impressed at all.

I would have liked the doctor to have written out my meds in laymans terms.

So much time during a 45 minute appointment is taken up by the doctor reading past reports from programmers, physical therapist, etc. that it is hard to get full benefit of the appointment

The combination and complexity of [...] medications and tweaking of the dosages is very complex. The communication between Dr. Ro and my wife and I is better than many providers with which I have had contact. It would be difficult to be perfect. Clarifying questions and responses are excellent and usually resolve any questions.

I have my choice of many providers I could go to. I vote with my feet. Despite the challenges the clinic has with patient flow, organization, and seldom answering the phone, Dr. Ro's clinical expertise, collaborative approach to care, insightful problemsolving, and customization of patient treatment makes me very loyal to Dr. Ro. [...] Top notch!

The provider talked in the medical terms or language not understandable to a non medical person. Questions were not satisfactorily explained. She reviewed the medical history during the appointment instead of reviewing the long history before seeing the patient. Shouldn't the neurologists be reading the old chart before she sees patients so she can dedicate herself in interviewing the patient in person? Provider hardly made eye contact because she was too busy reviewing the old chart. On the positive note we have seen a few neurologists in the area she's the only one we are most satisfied at the moment. We have yet to find a good neurologist.
