PATIENT RATINGS AND COMMENTS

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey.Responses are measured on a 10 - point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5 - point scale in order to display results in a 5 - star rating.Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Best clinic visit in this year. Initial visit - diagnosis made, treatment discussed in detail follow up coordinated with several other docs. I have an unusual diagnosis - so there were lots of questions and concerns.

I've seen 3 different neurologist. out of the three. Dr. Mary Reif has been the most thorough doctor I've ever seen in my life. extremely detailed. she actually should be teaching people to be neurologist.

Dr. Reif is excellent in all aspects of care. In addition I really appreciate her straightforward way of addressing my condition. Since I first saw her I am always in awe of how thoroughly she does the neurological exam. It takes a lot of energy for her to do all aspects of the exam, but she does not sidestep anything in order to take less time. I really appreciate how thorough she is and how she considers all aspects of my situation, not just the medical side but how it affects my day to day life.

The doctor was very professional and caring toward my pain. Expedited the MRI to happen before I left Seattle. Called me that night with the results of the MRI and blood tests. However, there was no mention of follow up and what I should do about my concerns that the MRI didn't show (ie: weakness in legs didn't show up on MRI but wasn't told what my next step could be to find out the reason).

I was referred to Dr. Reif from the Balance Center. She was very informative and kind. I appreciated how she handled the appointment and felt very positive with the experience. I look forward to working with her while we figure out the best way to handle my care.

I have been seeing 2 different neurologist in Tacoma, was disappointed with outcome of visits, Dr. [...] recommended Dr Reif, within 3 weeks she diagnosed I had MS, I have seen her ever since 2007. When ever I had a question she returned my call the same day. I also emailed some question which were not urgent and she answered them. Communication is extremely important and I would rate her excellent.

Dr. Reif has been my neurologist for 4 years and saved my life by quickly getting seizures under control. Now she has recommended a switch in medication and wrote a detailed plan for that. Excellent provider!!
