Very disappointing experience with this provider [...]

It was very late in the afternoon and I was able to get in and see a doctor for my condition.

My issue with my care provider is two-fold. 1. I presented with systems consistent with an UTI. I am married and in a committed relationship and yet it was viewed with suspicion that I had a STI. 2. I was told that upon the results of my tests I would be given a script for antibiotics. This did not occur. I wrote to my care provider within minutes of receiving the test information regarding moving forward with my care. Granted it was a Thursday evening. I waited two full business days and still had not received any information regarding my situation. I called the South Lake Union office and left a message. After 5 more hours of no response, I wrote my care provider again on MyChart. Finally, someone called from the office indicating they had received my messages and that my care provider was not working that day. So I wait another day to hear from my care provider. At this juncture, it has been a week since my initial office visit. My care provider finally call today to indicate he is going to call in my prescription. Yet when I go to my pharmacy 5 hours later, there is no prescription. I am really tired of the mediocre care I have received at Swedish medical over the years.

Great bedside manner, caring provider (first visit).

This doctor was fine overall. In general I feel like every time I come in for a visit (to Swedish Queen Anne) other than getting my toenail extracted in the clinic itself, I am simply referred to another office. And It seems as though my primary care is only the "middle man" and a waste of time. I phoned the clinic prior to my going to ask if there was an x-ray machine so I could get everything done at once. I was told YES. When I went in to discuss my wrist pain I was then told I needed to go to another clinic (Ballard) because they had a better machine. It would have been FAR easier to be told to go straight to Ballard and avoid a separate appointment. Incredibly frustrating.

I never got my test results back. No phone call, no connect your care, nothing.

The whole exam involved light poking with an index finger on my bruises. Did not involve any movement of the affected foot, which I still can't walk on 6 days later.

Doctor missed diagnosis, even after I disagreed with his diagnosis in the appointment, and his approach didn't alleviate or address what was causing me pain.

Considering that he is not a dermatologist, he did fine. [...]

He was great, super friendly and personable. Although, I came in for a STI test. Upon visual inspection he said I didn't need it, and I had to say a few times I wanted it just to be sure.

there was no follow up to what I should be doing at home for the injury. just got sent to an X-ray place and sent the X-ray info that made no sense to me.

The provider did not prescribe anything for pain despite the fact that I could barely swallow or sleep due to severe pain, and also despite the fact that every provider I have ever seen for strep throat gave pain medication. He even refused to prescribe a non-narcotic for pain.

I've already recommended him to family.
