This is the first GI specialist I went to that is "FINALLY" doing something to try to figure out what is wrong. Treats me respectful & like an adult.

I do not like the fact that he didn't know my medical history and didn't have my previous test results. I am even less comfortable with the fact that he didn't order those results and records, didn't order any new tests, and opted instead to put me on medication straight away without any honest knowledge if he's treating the right thing or not. When I told him I'd had previous adverse reactions to medications in that family, he put me on it anyway.

I did not feel that Dr. Patterson saw me as a whole person...didn't feel like he explored enough avenues and he had narrow advice and took me to a scheduler and went and sat in his office (where I could see him from scheduler desk) and did not give any closure to our visit. I reached out and said good bye to him.

I have followed Dr. Patterson from [...] to Swedish in Oder to continue excellent care. I ave also referred my husband and daughter to him and which they are now his patients as well. knowing he cares about our entire family is hugely comforting. we trust his judgement totally.

There was a student came with the provider who seemed to be lack of enough time to check my real symptoms [...]

Dr. Patterson is an excellent physician. Not only is he extremely knowledgable, his warm and friendly demeaned shows that he genuinely cares about his patients welfare.

Dr. Patterson was great! Very informed.

Dr. Patterson is an amazing doctor!!

Dr Patterson is not only a extremely experienced compassionate GI Dr, but also a very kind and caring person. As a [...] patient it is always a challenge to find medical professionals that understand this rare incurable condition. Dr Patterson understands and provides such great support and help for so many of us. He is exceptional and so is his staff.

Felt like the doctor didn't listen carefully to me and didn't respect my own instincts about my body. He wanted me to rush to a major intervention (surgery) without further discussion or testing despite symptoms that point to needing more testing. I did not receive a phone call with my results, instead just an email through the system which I almost missed. A nurse or doctor should call with major test results.
