Professional Statement
I believe in a multi-disciplinary approach to health and illness. Treatment of a person should involve education, traditional and complementary medical approaches and an emphasis on return to activity and prevention of recurrent injury. I believe in empowering people to take charge of their own well-being by helping them be aware of how health involves not just an understanding of their medical diagnoses, but an understanding of how their conditions can influence and are influenced by their mental health and interpersonal relationships.

Dr. Packia-Raj is patient friendly and has a wonderful bedside manner. He listened, cared and offered several solutions instead of pushing surgery first.

wait is too long for an acute problem. Doctor is good but I was misled about his availability.

Very compassionate Dr.

Both my adult children go to Dr Packia Raj. This is based on my recommendation

Very personable and gives the impression of genuine concern for your well being and wants to help as best as possible.

I have complete trust in Dr. Pakia Raj and really appreciate his efforts to fix me!

I was pleasantly surprised by the thoroughness and effectiveness of the care I received. I was helped with a very long term problem of pain. I am so thankful.

they have declined to follow up in a timely manner, despite my extreme pain.

Dr. Packia Raj is the best physiatrist I've ever seen, and the best provider with Swedish I've ever seen.

Great Dr

Dr. Packia Raj is the best. Very compassionate & good at allowing my needs & opinions to be considered. Does not over medicate.

I have recommended Dr. Packia Raj to several friends. After having back problems for over 40 years, this is the only group practice in which I have the utmost confidence. This visit again confirmed my confidence in Dr. Packia Raj.

They were all wonderful.

The dr. was very pleasant and seemed most eager to help me, but the computer occupied his time. He looked at the computer and entered information into the computer, but seldom looked at me or examined me--seemed very caring when he entered the room and when he left, but I felt that this whole time could have been spent without me being physically present. [...] I was told that he was ordering a new prescription, but when I got it and read about it, I am fearful to take it. I think this was a just "a quick fix" to avoid pain. I was disappointed.

Very professional, courteous and understanding. He made sure all of my questions and concerns were addressed.

He lived up to my best expectations of a caring, respectful physician.

Everyone was very friendly, especially the doctor.

Amazing Doctor! I really liked his manner and how excited and knowledgeable he was about this field of medicine. He was able to put it in terms I could understand, and made me feel relaxed about the procedures.

Dr. Packia Raj is very personable, another easy to understand his explanations of my injury and treatment.

Dr. Packia Raj is an amazing doctor. […] He was very compassionate about the level of pain I was in and was very clear about the plan he had for my care. He first treated the acute pain, told me what he suspected the problem may be and ordered the tests to confirm his diagnosis. Next he also wrote a prescription for acupuncture […]. I have extreme confidence in him and his ability to help me. He answers emails through "my chart" quickly and is easily accessible. But the most important thing about Dr Packia Raj is his compassion. He didn't see me as just another chart or patient. I saw in his eyes he really believed how much anxiety I had about my condition and the level of pain I was in. He really cared and took action. You don't have to ask if I will refer anyone to him. I already have, to my family and friends as well as by texts and emails to my coworkers […].

Knowledgeable & kind.

Love working with my provider.
