I trust Dr McLennan completely, given her breadth and depth of experience and ability to balance the need for interventions with the need to sometimes wait and let things take their own natural course.

felt rushed

At my first prenatal appointment, we discussed dating my pregnancy from the first ultrasound instead of the first day of my last period, and Dori agreed to do so. However, at the 20 week ultrasound, medical imaging had a different date for my due date than I did and was using the reported first day of my last menstrual period, except that wasn't the right LMP date at all. They said I could take it up with my doctor, but they couldn't change it. It feels like Dori and I aren't communicating. This is on top of the OB office messing up one of my lab tests and not ordering a retest of the original wrong test. In my last appointment, she also glossed over a problem seen on the ultrasound, which I have to go in for more monitoring for. Perhaps she didn't want me to worry about something that might turn out not to be a problem, but I would do better getting a clear explanation from her instead of google. It feels like I talk to a different nurse every time there's an issue and that I am told a different thing in person/over the phone/on MyChart versus what gets written down in my medical record.

I had another doctor in the same practice before seeing Dr. McLennan. I was not happy with the previous doctor, at all. Dr. McLennan is fantastic! I recommend her very highly.

I have followed Dr. D. McLennan for 20 years - and will continue to do so.

So smart! Very knowledgeable and worked with me on my birth strategy.

Dr. McLennan is great [...]

Didn't hold back in giving her opinion which is what all doctors should do as the experts.

Dr. McClennan is so knowledgeable and explains really complex stuff in an easy to understand way. She is efficient in the room and also is a good listener. I love how no nonsense she is, but she also has a sense of humor.

Dr. McLennan is a wonderful doctor! I saw her with my first pregnancy. At certain appointments I did feel rushed but with every visit, she made sure all of my questions were answered. She recalls past visits and checks in on previous health concerns and gives valuable, straightforward advice, and perspective.

VERY informative, I saw provider!! years ago when she was with another provider. I am so thankful I found her. She was and still is EXCELLENT! Very long drive, but worth it.

I have been following Dori for 20+ years. I only have good things to say. She has been there through good and bad times. She is a gem, Swedish is fortunate to have her on staff.

Dr. McLennan is so wonderful I travel from Tacoma to see her!

While it took a while to get an appointment with Dr. McLennan, I appreciate her level of care, her sincerity in my health and her explanations of the how and why of her care. She is fantastic and worth the wait.

I have recommended Dr. McLennan to several friends. She is an excellent doctor.

Dr McLennan was clearly very busy and gave only short responses to my concerns. In a follow up call was almost dismissive and clearly irritated with my questions.

Not my regular doctor, but very lovely woman.
