my PT sends a fax prior to my appointments, but the Dr often hasn't seen iit. I have tried sending it to the main fax # in Bellevue and the Ballard Fax # where I see her. not sure why it's not getting scanned.

Only hesitation is backlog & wait to schedule appts. and extreme difficulty in reaching office directly w/o going thru call centers.

Provider was not interested in helping me. Provider explained what was wrong with me & then pushed me off onto another provider.

She is the only doctor for which I drive to Seattle from the east side, I can't think of any other of my providers that I would have kept if they moved to Seattle.

Even though I had to wait 2 months for this appointment, Dr. Marquardt was very thorough and patient with my questions and concerns. Excellent care received.

I used to see a different Physiatrist until he closed his private practice and moved to Everett. He was VERY thorough with his physical exams relative to the problem at hand. With him gone, I had to find a new Physiatrist - I chose this one because she comes to the Ballard office. She is NO WHERE near as thorough with her examination of the problem - pretty casual [...] about doing an exam in general. I never feel like a meaningful effort has been made to thoroughly evaluate my problem, rule things in or out, and therefore come up with what I have confidence is the correct diagnosis. I am sitting here now, still wondering what the diagnosis might or might not be. Also, I have sent her a message on My Chart because my symptoms have gotten MUCH worse since my appointment, but I have not heard back as to what I should do.

apt was a little rushed but I had been squeezed in so that was to be expected. I was grateful to get in at all.

Dr. Mardquardt is an outside of the box thinker with creative solutions to my back problems and pain. She works well with my other health care providers and shows a tremendous amount of respect, genuine care and compassion every time I see her. I always leave her office feeling like a better human being for being in her presence. She is like the "Buddha" of the Swedish Sports and Spine. You are lucky to have her!

The follow up was confusing. I didn't know if I was suppose to make PT appointments, or if I am suppose to schedule my MRI or if someone was going to call me to confirm Insurance would cover it. Unsure if I was suppose to make a follow up appointment. I thought all of that could have been better explained.

This was my first meeting with her. [...] I expect she is an excellent doctor, but I currently have very limited experience with her. She is definitely liked and believed to be a fine doctor by medical professionals I hold in the highest esteem.

We did not discuss medications as we were focused on a procedure to alleviate this pain. However, I wish I had addressed the need for pain management between the visit and the procedure. It's very difficult to go about my day with sleep interrupted approx. every 2 hours by the need to address the pain that wakes me up.
