The average gift amount to the Campaign for Swedish was $350. That’s right, $350.

And thanks to the 50,000+ community members who have made gifts to help improve the health and well-being of our region, I am proud to report that The Campaign for Swedish has reached its initial $100,000,000 fundraising goal.

On behalf of the 2,000,000 patients who have benefited, thank you.

The Campaign for Swedish began just over five years ago on January 1, 2007 with an ambitious goal of improving the care we provide to patients in some of the most important areas of health care, including women & infants, cardiovascular care, cancer and the neurosciences. And the response from the community has been overwhelming. Here are just a few..

Patients who are well educated about their medical conditions and who use self-management plans created in collaboration with their doctors have better outcomes in a number of chronic medical conditions. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), which includes both chronic bronchitis and emphysema, is no exception. Patients who understand the disease process that causes COPD and who understand their treatment and management plans have fewer emergency room visits, fewer hospitalizations and fewer days with COPD-related symptoms.

If you are one of the 12 million people who know they have COPD, what can you do to have more days without COPD-related symptoms?

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey.Responses are measured on a 10 - point scale, with 10 being the best score. Dr Lipke is an excellent Doctor

Dr. Lipke is a great doctor and I trust her.

Dr. Lipke is friendly, yet professional. Very impressed. She is brilliant! I know she would go to bat for me if I needed her.

Dr. Lipke is the finest pulmonary physician I have ever had. She located a lung disease that I had picked-up in world travels, then proceded to remove it from my lung. I had been very sick for several years from mis-diagnosis from clinic in Yakima, and now I am enjoying quality of life, beyond measure. She was compassionate in the loss of my husband of my [...], and sent me a personal note. Swedish is very, very fortunate to have her on their staff.

Dr. Lipke is terrific!

Dr. Lipke is an excellentpulmonary care physiscian. She has been most helpful and I feel fortunate to be in her care.

Dr. Lipke has always been friendly, courteous, on time, concerned, & caring. Great Doctor!

Over the last couple of years that Dr. Lipke has been my lung doc, she has continuously worked to treat & diagnose my illness.I have the utmost respect in her knowledge, collaboration with other doctors, and necessary tests to try and figure out what causes my lung problems.

excellent Provider

Probably the best doctor I've ever seen - great follow up.

I'm fortunate to be cared for by Dr. Anne Lipke, she is knowledgeable, professional, but also relaxed and fun, you can tell she truly enjoys her specialty, and cares about me and my health issues.

Dr. Lipke is of the highest professionalism. She is very knowledgeable, not only of her speciality, but in general medicine and health related topics. She is very generous with her time. She listens to your concerns and questions with sincere empathy, and is determined to find solutions. I communicate with her via the My Chart system. She immediately provides me with updates from my tests. She answers all my questions immediately. She virtually communicates via My Chart almost on a twenty-four hour basis. I never feel my doctor is not available because it is during non-office hours or the weekend. I have only experienced one other doctor like her. They both are a rare find.

She is great. All of my family agrees she's professional compassionate & much more. We've already recommended her to a couple others.

It was a very pleasant visit--everything went well.

Dr. Lipke is a true professional. [...]

Dr. Lipke is my favorite doctor [...] she is the best doctor I've ever had.
