I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Iles-Shih. She is hands down the best physician I've ever had. She is friendly and intelligent and always presents options to me in a way that makes me understand what needs to be done. I honestly like going to appointments knowing she is my physician.

Dr. Iles Shih is incredible in her communication skills. She understands the issues at hand and clearly communicates all information pertinent to my situation in a way I can understand it. She is fabulous and responsive if I have a follow up question on MyChart. A+++

I felt well-taken care of. The doctor was not in a rush, and listened carefully to me. I REALLY like this provider!

She asked me how she could help me in a very kind & generous manner. All doctors should be so personal & professional! She is fantastic!

I had very good experience with Dr. Shih.

Dr. Iles-Shih explained everything with drawn visuals that made it easy to understand what she was saying. I've never been this happy with a gastroenterologist before! she showed genuine concern and listened to me. I've been going to gastrointestinal doctors for 23 years and nobody has been better than her!

When I told her that my symptoms didn't correlate to the symptoms related to her diagnosis of my problem, I felt ignored.

Doctor is amazing.

My experience with Swedish overall has been fantastic. This was my first GI appointment since I moved to Washington, but I can say that in 17 years of dealing with GI issues, I've never felt this good after an new patient appointment. Dr. Iles-Shih spent a great deal of time with me going over my history. I had brought in a large stack of records from previous providers, and was extremely impressed that she not only cared, but reviewed the history with me in great detail to ensure we had everything correct. She reviewed previous doctors' notes with me and even clarified a few things that I had misunderstood or forgotten. I've dragged this stack to doctors before who hardly glanced at it, but here they even took copies to add to my chart. We discussed current issues and future tests/treatments in order to get a handle on the situation. I also really appreciated her empathy with my situation, and the concern to find the right solution. It felt genuine. It was a relief to be with a DR that seemed to actually care. The appointment has a lasting impression on my. I'm pretty sure I've bragged about the experience to at least three people.

[...] Love the care and attention to my health needs and concerns that Dr. Iles-Shis gives me!!

I requested MyChart to be updated 1/2017 with current doses of medications but that has not happened 2/2/2017. Perhaps that is because my primary doc is at Pac Med (since early 2016) and no longer Swedish?

I trust Dr. Iles-Shea fully.

Best doctor I've ever had. Friendly, concerned - a perfect mix for her profession.

Dr Iles Shih Is as professional and medically confident as any doctor that has ever served my health needs!

Good experience.

Very knowledgeable doctor.

I feel Dr. Lulu, was not hearing my concern for drinking the icky drink I have to drink for my procedure. I'm have severe emotional issues drinking that stuff and I want to drink the stuff my old Dr. would give me, but she wasn't hearing me!!! I hope I can get this drink down and the procedure done...

Dr. Iles-Shih is great and I've already bragged about her to my friends. literally I have done this on Facebook. I've got many friends who have chronic conditions, and having a health care provider they trust is rare and important.
