It took over 3 months to obtain an appoint. My time with the doctor was less than 5 minutes. There was no follow up on the medicine he prescribed, no questions about how I was feeling, and most important, no inspection of issue.

have referred him to 3 friends. I truly trust Dr. Davies. He always has my interests first.

I don't know how much time I spent with Dr. Davies but all my concerns were dealt with. I did feel rushed. It was a rapid fire question and answer session! Then he gave me time to ask questions which I appreciated but I probably needed a little time to gather my thoughts by then. Still, I think he is GREAT!

I have no complaints about Dr. Davies. My complaints are about the receptionists and front office people.

Not personable at all. When meeting doctors for the first time, they walk in introduce themselves and shake your hand. Dr. Davies didn't even introduce himself let alone shake my hand. I had to ask him if he was Dr. Davies. I am putting my health into your hands and you don't even treat me with respect. That was not a great experience at all.

Seems like doctors are under a lot of time pressure.

He has managed my medical issues better than any previous endocrinologist that I had seen. He is an excellent teacher and explains things clearly.

In the beginning, I really trusted in what Dr Davies had to say and the treatment he recommended, but as time went on, it seemed that my concerns with my illness only annoyed him. He is very busy, and he is incredible about responding via email even though, very little is said. I appreciate this aspect, but I do not think he has the time or interest with my needs to fight this thyroid illness that is not getting better nor going away. At my last visit, I did not appreciate his comment to me regarding "keeping my new job, because it is important to function in society" as if I have chosen to get sick and not be able to work much until now. I am a graduate from the University of Washington, have always held a job my entire life, but these last few years have been really tough on me with this thyroid illness and I found his comment very insensitive. He does not know me, which is strange for a doctor. I got the impression he thinks I am just depressed and he needs to understand being sick all the time does not equal depression, it is just a struggle and I am fighting every day to stay well and keep my job in a very competitive field. I am not interested in ever seeing him again, it going nowhere.

I have recommended Matt Davies to friends in need of an endocrinologist.

Matt seemed to be under time pressure to get out the door (on to the next patient) more than usual. He seemed to be treating me "by the numbers" instead of trying to put my physical complaints together and see if there is a hormonal connection. This differs from the first few years I saw him, when he tried to piece the puzzle together.

It is always a pleasure to see Dr. Davies and he inspires me to take better care of myself every time I see him.

Dr. Davies is one of the best doctors I've been taken care of in my life. My 2 coworkers recommended him and I became his patient few years ago, for thyroid and weight problems. He is always attentive, respectful, knowledgeable, and does not hesitate to provide a realistic advice and modify care based on the person's lifestyle and abilities. He is very motivational to make healthy choices, as he provides a personal examples of staying fit and healthy. I hope to continue working with him. My next visit is in three months and I'm excited to show my progress to him.

Dr. Davies is obviously very good at what he does, but he lacks in communication skills, unfortunately. I'm pretty thick skinned, but coming in with something very concerning and getting a kind of a "it's too bad, but what do you expect" kind of response didn't really feel too good. Also didn't get much information about test results and recommendations for treatment. I need more information to make such a big decision.

Dr. Davies is an outstanding medical professional. His deep knowledge of diabetes combined with his patient care and interpersonal skills provide a very reassuring experience. Finally, a doctor who LISTENS to his patient and works WITH them to treat their illness. THANK YOU!

Dr Davies is an excellent physician. This particular visit seemed rushed, but again the fumes from the building and the banging weren't conducive to communication this particular day.

This doctor's bedside manner is not great.

Dr. Davies is wonderful!!

Provider was dismissive when I expressed my intent on not adding another medication to my current long list of medications, but rather staying the course and better managing symptoms through improving better balance on my own. Stress is a particular component which affects my illness and the provider seems to have no interest in consideration of or responding to this issue,

He was great but seems he didn't have time to review my records prior to the visit and I didn't realize that I needed to have this information myself to give to him

I have already recommended Dr. Davies to friends and family. Excellent conversation, good insight, a true partner in my health journey.

Could spend more time with the patient and answer questions in detail instead of trying to wrap up the visit quickly. A patient is concerned about his/her health and giving more details eg lifestyle change suggestions, future prognosis etc makes the patient feel valued and helped.

Dr. Davies has a sense of who I am and encourages me to better manage my condition. I can't say enough good things about him. He is so smart and still very practical and empathetic so I have entire confidence in him.

05/17/2016
The first time I met with Dr. Davies he used a whiteboard and marker to draw an image of the correlation between my thyroid, brain, pituitary gland, etc. It was so helpful in understanding what was going on in my body.

While I appreciate the efficiency, I feel the Dr. Davies' exams are VERY fast- he rarely assesses me!

Dr. Davies has a wonderful "bed side manner". He is amazing!

Dr. Davies is an amazing doctor. He can be a bit brusque, but it's just his personality. I have had a few endochronologists, including a top rated Seattle doctor, and he is far and away the best. He really listens and takes an experimental approach to solve problems that other doctors have ignored. His support has been life-changing.

Dr. Davies is a great doctor to have. He doesn't sugar coat things. He is very clear with instructions. He has been very helpful for me.

Dr Davies seems like a very competent doctor. There is a reason why I was referred to him by my PCP. However I did not feel at ease when I went to see him. Although he did not prescribe me a medication yet, pending my lab results, he said he most likely will recommend a medicine. I know he tried and he want to work with me in setting up plans or goals for my health, which I really appreciate.

02/05/2016
Dr. Davies is one of the best providers I have ever had. He is extremely empathetic and compassionate. He explains everything in a way you can understand and is ready to answer any questions you have. I never feel rushed when I need to discuss problems with him.

I really like Dr Davis. His answers are thoughtful and he actually listens to the questions I ask. He also tries to make suggestions that would work with my lifestyle/environment.

Dr. Davies is the best! Very thoughtful & thorough, understanding, relates to patient. He is the first doctor that actually made progress on my health issue because he spent time explaining to the importance of the treatment, and gave examples of how it had worked in the past. Very compassionate & seems to actually care about patients. Would highly recommend.
