No one can predict with absolute confidence a medical outcome, or guarantee the health of a patient. Providing excellent medical care means guiding individuals through these uncertainties. Labor is the most intense event a women or couple will experience, and the best outcomes require excellent medical care. However, the daily problems of existence also require attention and support. While aspiring to be a physician whose opinions are sought and respected by colleagues, it is also critical to me that I am approachable, open-minded and available to my patients for these moments in their lives.

Time with my two boys and husband makes me happiest. I enjoy tennis, rock climbing, biking, pilates and bass guitar. My family life has only increased my interest in child development, female health and aging (as well as lacrosse and ultimate frisbee!)
