PATIENT RATINGS AND COMMENTS

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey.Responses are measured on a 10 - point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5 - point scale in order to display results in a 5 - star rating.Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

I want my medication list fixed as soon as possible so that if I have to be hospitalized or have another head surgery, I will be given the proper medications to keep me from having more brain injuries. It will be too late to fix future brain injuries if the doctors don't agree with the medications that I have been told to take.

[...] I am dealing with the possibility that my epilepsy diagnosis may have been wrong [...]. I am going through further testings to see if I can determine more clues to my episodes (seizures vs syncope vs ????). I appreciated Dr Caylor discussing the possibility that I did not have epilepsy but she was no help in referring me to see someone that could help me further. She had suggested my latest episode was not a seizure but a syncope and I just wanted her suggestion for a syncope specialist. She took the easy way out and suggested I see my general doctor to seek further assistance.

In her first 10 minutes with me, she was ready to increase my medications with no other testing to see if this needed to be done. She made me feel like a "lab rat" that was going to try a new medicine to see if it would work. I thought: for what? […] 1) I told her that I had trouble sleeping. 2) I was not able to pay the costs of new medicines that I didn't know would work or not. [...] She told me that she didn't do "not sleeping". And she told me that the cost of the meds were not her concern. Excuse me! They both are my concern. […] Caylor finally ordered a "sleep" deprived EEG. […]
