Atrial Fibrillation (also known as Afib) is an irregular heart beat that can present in many different ways. Some people don’t feel palpitations, but instead feel dizzy, weak or lightheaded. And still others feel nothing at all. So why should you care?

We know the toll that physical stress can take on our hearts. But what about emotional stress? Doctors are learning that emotional stress can play a significant role in our heart health by causing inflammation in the body. It also can cause or contribute to other health problems that directly affect our hearts. I explain in this video.

The only issue I had was that I did not get a reminder for my annual visit. Dr. Buckler said I should have received one. He said he will make sure I get a reminder for my next visit.

When I emailed him with a question he replied quickly and did it himself instead of having a nurse do it.

Dr. Joshua Buckler is a superb medical specialist. His knowledge, extraordinary communication skills, thoughtful concern for his patient and highly effective direction of his entire team at Swedish makes him, in my opinion, a huge and unusual asset to both the hospital and his patients. Providence, Swedish and his patients are blessed with this physician.

I felt like I was rush because of the back up in time Doctor running late. I still haven't heard about my other appointment they was supposed to make. This is serious to me because I suffer with 3 + more illnesses. and I was referred to this doctor. He might be a good doctor but, first visits are important.

Awesome doc. I feel so fortunate to have Dr. Buckler overseeing my care. His knowledge and concern for me was so comforting. Talking through options for treatment and explanation of each helped me reach a joint decision. Thank you!

I had an extremely poor interaction w/ Dr. Buckler. I found that he didn't have any relevant information on my condition, didn't address any of my concerns, didn't listen to what I was saying, was dismissive to me regarding my concerns and overall, very arrogant. It was the worst doctor appointment I've ever had in my life. [...]
