SUPER all around!

Due to transportation issues, entire team was late commuting between clinics.

Dr. Backous is clearly a very intelligent and talented doctor in his speciality, and I feel I'm lucky to have him around the region I live in for treatment. I only wish he were ever available for longer periods of time--due to his renown, he's usually difficult to schedule any time with, and visits always feel a little clipped. It's discouraging to leave a session feeling like we've still never made a deeper diagnosis of a slowly worsening medical issue I've had over the last several years, which I have to imagine is because of a lack of return on investment (treatment of ETD is tough), test results showing things within reasonably normal ranges despite my complaints to the contrary, or both. I'll keep trying.

Showed genuine concern over the answering service not responding to my phone calls on holiday weekend. He is still trying to find out what happened & will follow up with me.

He was rushed, so he didn't have as much time to spend on my appt. Did leave [...] step-by-step instructions for follow-up.

Dr. [...] very competent and caring, as well as Dr. Backous. I so appreciate the team approach to my care and Dr. Backous getting input from colleagues to form the best form of treatment for me.

One of the WORST doctors I've ever met. I felt like I was being interrogated. Made a big fuss about my sex and gender. Rushed through the appointment. Clearly did not read my chart because I had to verbally correct and remind him of things that were on there that he should have already known.

although this doctor is the best in his field and operates most excellent in the surgery room I think his bedside manner has work to be done

We were aware that significant surgical emergencies put this provider far behind in his schedule & he had other patients who were... after me. We know that extraordinary efforts were made to schedule us on an expedited basis.

very comfortable to talk to
