The series will provide a forum for case presentations and discussions of protocols/care pathways and technology-related issues in the care of patients with spine disorders.

Target Audience

The sessions are targeted to all specialties and health-care professionals, including surgeons, non-surgical spine physicians, advanced practitioners, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, students and administrative staff. Those specializing in Physiatry, Occupational Medicine, Sports Medicine and Pain Medicine are especially encouraged to attend.

Series Objectives

At the conclusion of this course, the participant will provide better patient care through an increased ability to:

  • Describe treatment options for a variety of spine disorders which are commonly seen at the Swedish Spine Program.
  • Implement protocols related to new research in the management of spine patients.
  • Discuss outcomes of patient responses to treatment.
  • Compare and contrast technological options.
  • Participate in developing guidelines for treating spine patients that will improve patient care.

How to Submit a Case

Click on the button below to add a case to the agenda.  You will need to include the name, diagnosis and MR#.

Case submissions are due no later than 12 p.m. on the Thursday prior to a scheduled conference. An email will be sent out to attendees on the Monday before the scheduled conference with a list of cases to be discussed and didactic topic.

You will have 1-2 minutes to present a case and 5-10 minutes for discussion.
