Dr. Ralph Pascualy explains why snoring is bad for your health. When you are snoring, you are losing the flow of air in your throat. If we lose airflow, our brain thinks we are being strangled. Therefore, our brain prepares to fight off what is strangling them. This causes hormones and stimulants to be released. All of those chemicals that have been released cause elevation in blood pressure, promote cardiovascular disease, and promote wakening. Overall, it is has a significant impact on a variety of your bodies systems.
