About Our Center
About the Swedish Radiosurgery Center
The Swedish Radiosurgery Center in Seattle, Wash., offers both CyberKnife and Gamma Knife technology. Both of these treatment options use high-dose radiation beams to treat small or complex, cancerous and noncancerous tumors.
CyberKnife can be used to treat tumors of the brain, breast, head and neck, kidney, liver, lung, pancreas, pelvis, prostate, spine, and other parts of the body.
Gamma Knife is specifically used to treat tumors of the brain, head and neck, and may also be used to treat neurological conditions, such as arteriovenous malformations, essential tremor and trigeminal neuralgia.
Our center provides a serene and comforting environment for patients who are receiving these highly sophisticated treatments. Our Radiosurgery Team is dedicated to identifying the most appropriate treatment that will achieve the best results.
Because our center is part of the Swedish Cancer Institute, all of our patients have access to the full scope of services and support available at our nationally recognized cancer-care center – including access to specialized classes, support groups and integrated care services.
Call us at 206-320-7130 if you want help finding a physician certified in CyberKnife and/or Gamma Knife, or to schedule an appointment for a consultation.
