Belinda Fu, M.D.

Medical degree: University of California, San Francisco

Residency: University of Washington, Seattle

Belinda enjoys caring for families and patients of all ages, especially children. Her areas of special interest include patient education, encouraging healthy lifestyles, disease prevention, and women’s health.

She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Society for Teachers of Family Medicine. Outside of medicine, she is a professional improv actor, and also enjoys volleyball, snowboarding, hiking, swimming, and travel.

John Stevens, M.D.

Medical Degree: University of Washington School of Medicine

Rsidency: Swedish Family Medicine - First Hill. Seattle, WA

Dr. Stevens feels health care is ideally a team effort between patient and provider. He values the importance of knowing a patient beyond the diagnoses in their medical chart in order to provide customized care for the individual.

He believes in the education and empowerment of patients and their ability to make their own decisions surrounding their care. His interests in medicine include pediatrics, chronic disease management, mental health, addiction medicine, and obstetrics. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Washington Academy of Family Physicians and the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine. When not in clinic, he enjoys improvisational comedy, both yard and tabletop games and laughing with his friends and family.

Nicholas Weida, Resident M.D.

Undergraduate: College of Wooster -  Wooster, OH

Medical School: Boston University

Dr. Weida believes that Swedish First Hill offers the perfect compromise between his interests in clinical practice and research. While the community hospital provides broad spectrum training, Ballard Community Health is a clinic in perpetual motion, with providers constantly investigating new ways to improve on the medical home model. Dr. Weida also enjoys the outdoors, and in his spare time he enjoys biking, hiking, running, and skiing.

Claire Frost, Resident M.D.

Undergraduate: Montana State University

Medical Degree: University of Vermont College of Medicine

Dr. Frost's clinical interests include women's health, OB, and LGBTQ care. She enjoys working together with patients for better health. In her free time she enjoys skiing, biking and spending time with her fiance and golden retriever.

Julie Hubble, Resident M.D.

Undergraduate: Yale University

Medical School: University of Michigan

Dr. Hubble believes in a collaborative approach to healing. Her clinical interests include sports medicine, international health, women's health, and mindfulness-based stress reduction.  She spent several years working in Haiti and later joined Doctors Without Borders on a mission in Nigeria.  She enjoys spending time with her family, exploring, gardening, and snowboarding. 

Mimi Nguyen, Resident M.D.

Undergraduate: University of California –San Diego

Medical School: University of California – San Diego

Dr. Nguyen strongly believes in partnering with patients to achieve their health goals. It is her philosophy that good patient care relies on evidence-based medicine, open communication, and teamwork. Dr. Nguyen clinical interests include preventative health, refugee/immigrant health, reproductive medicine, and alternative medicine. Her other interests include health policy and systems, global health, and quality improvement. Outside of work, she loves traveling, hiking, and cooking.

Puja Dalal, Resident M.D.

Undergraduate: University of South Carolina

Medical School: University of South Carolina

Dr. Dalal believes all people deserve access to great primary care regardless of race, religion, income or sexual orientation.  She has a special passion for wilderness medicine, sports medicine and global health.  Outside of the clinic, Dr. Dalal is known for her love of all types of dance.  She is also looking forward to enjoying all that Seattle has to offer including ultimate frisbee, rock climbing and taking in a few Sounders games.

Meredith Gibbons, Resident D.O.

Undergraduate: University of California, Berkeley

Medical School: Western University of Health Sciences - Pomona, CA

Dr. Gibbons is very excited to now be a part of Swedish Family Medicine and the innovative patient-centered clinic in Ballard. She hopes to deliver cost-effective, holistic care to my patients and remain in the national discussion about healthcare. In her spare time Dr. Gibbons likes to play guitar, see live music shows, and spend time with my family exploring all the great parks in Seattle.
