The Swedish Orthopedic Institute offers a variety of classes. If you are interested in learning about the latest treatment options, please see our full list of class descriptions and registration information.

Preop Classes (Scheduled Surgery)

If you are already scheduled for joint replacement surgery, your surgeon may recommend that you attend this class. It will inform you about what to expect before surgery, during your hospital stay and for the first several weeks after surgery. This class will include recommendations on how to prepare your home for a comfortable recovery. Free.

Swedish/Edmonds: Held the second and fourth Friday of every month (excluding holidays) at 1:30 p.m. in the 4th Floor Conference Room. Registration not required. For more information, call 425-640-4140.

Swedish/Issaquah: Held every Wednesday at 12 p.m. (excluding holidays) in the 2nd Floor Conference Center in conjunction with a unique all-inclusive pre-surgical orientation program known as the Joint Journey Orientation Experience. Registration required. To register or for more information, call 425-313-5330.

Swedish Orthopedic Institute (Downtown Seattle): Held every weekday (excluding holidays) at 1:15 p.m. in the Swedish Orthopedic Institute (601 Broadway) main floor conference room. Registration not required.
