Although many people think a brain aneurysm means sudden, unexpected death, this condition can be both survivable and treatable. Neurosurgeons at the Swedish Cerebrovascular Center are specially trained in cerebrovascular diseases, and evaluate nearly 500 patients a year — one of the highest volumes in the Pacific Northwest. And, we have developed some of the techniques that minimize the risk of stroke after aneurysm treatment.
