Dr. Ralph Pascualy explains why one cannot just take sleeping pills. Often, doctors will ask about your sleeping problems and then give a prescription for sleeping pills. There isn't a diagnosis in between. Sleeping pills are drugs that can impact your ability to sleep without them. You can lose your own ability to sleep.
