For many brain cancer patients, the best chance of survival or increased life expectancy is participating in a national clinical trial investigating new treatments.
Currently, The Ben & Catherine Ivy Center for Advanced Brain Tumor Treatment is one of the few centers in the country that has the facilities, equipment, resources and expertise to perform this important research.
We are actively involved in numerous clinical trials as part of our brain cancer research program. This gives our patients early access to promising drugs and other new treatments.
Our five full-time scientists work in our world-class research laboratory, which is dedicated to finding new treatment options – and ultimately a cure – for brain cancer.
For more information about participating in a clinical trial through the Ivy Center, contact John Henson IV, M.D., FAAN, at 206-320-2300.
