Cerebrovascular Case Conference Series - for Swedish Employees Only

With the rapid advancements in the management of cerebrovascular disease and stroke, clinicians and hospitals need to quickly adapt their practices. The goal of this series is to create a forum for discussion and review of the latest updates in the field of cerebrovascular care. New knowledge will be applied to specific cases, giving attendees practical information that can be applied to their own patients.

Cranial and Spine M&M Conference Series - for Swedish Employees Only
2nd Thursday, Odd Months

This series will provide an opportunity for attendees to discuss recent cases that have had complications and/or errors. In reviewing the cases, participants will be able to learn from complication errors, modify behavior and judgment based on previous experiences and prevent the repition of errors leading to complications or unanticipated outcomes.

The Swedish Neuroscience Institute Grand Rounds series provides a forum for neuroscience specialists in the region to be continually updated on developments in the field of neuroscience. By engaging physicians and allied health professionals on a regular basis, the series also provides attendees with frequent updates on diagnostic and treatment options from a variety of neurological disciplines.

Swedish Neurotology Case Conference Series

The goal of this series is to create a forum for discussion and review of the latest updates in the field of otology and neurotology care. New knowledge will be applied to specific cases, giving attendees practical information that can be applied to their own patients.

Seattle Science Foundation Spine Conference Series
1st and 3rd Wednesday, Monthly (except holidays), 6:30-8 a.m.

The Seattle Science Foundation Spine Conference Series provides an ongoing forum for physicians and allied health professionals to enhance their diagnostic, clinical, and treatment skills of spine patients. The series will focus on pre-treatment planning and provide a forum for pre-surgical or pre-intervention case presentations.

Swedish Sleep Conference Series
4th Wednesday, Monthly, 9-10 a.m.
Swedish Education and Conference Center, Cherry Hill Campus

The series will provide a forum for case presentations and discussions of the most updated protocols and care pathways and technology-related issues in the care of patients with sleep disorders. Challenging cases will be selected as they arise so they can be discussed and learning can be applid to a real-life scenario. The goal of this series is to provide Swedish Sleep Medicine staff a forum to discuss challenging cases and review the latest information about diagnosing, treating and managing patients with sleep disorders.

Swedish Neuroscience Institute Cancer Conference Series
Mondays, Weekly (except holidays), 7-8:30 a.m.
Seattle Science Foundation, Cherry Hill Campus

The series will provide a forum for case presentations and discussions of protocols/care pathways and technology-related issues in the care of patients with cancer. These forums will include prospective case discussions and no more than 25% didactic presentations. You must be on staff at Swedish Medical Center to attend this series.
