Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

my biggest problem with Dr Young is that she seems to refuse to consider the input of my PT and other care providers. she is stuck on the diagnosis of carpal tunnel syndrome, even though that was secondary to a very painful and disabling problem [...]. better referrals should have been made, and she should use a broader scope when making a diagnosis. I wish I had come to see Dr. Young in December. I might have had some relief sooner! The Gabapentin is helping greatly.

Dr. Young was very personable and I felt very comfortable talking to her.

Dr. Young is friendly and very knowledgeable. She made sure that she had the Xrays before she diagnosed and guided the treatment. My pain is sgnificantly decreased. I am Happy. She needs a raise.

dr. young has an excellent rapport with patients. She is a good listener and makes the patient feel at ease. Unlike other experiences with some doctors, I never felt as if Dr. Young was in a hurry to get to the next patient as she afforded me all the time she needed to give me a thorough exam in a relaxed manner and making me feel like my care was of utmost concern to her at the moment.

I would have liked more explanation about the condition (arthritis in thumb joints) - i.e. what causes it? is there anything I can do to help alleviate it? etc. Just gave me pills to take; which is typically my 'last resort' - I would prefer to control symptoms via diet, exercise, natural supplements
