Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Dr. Wong said at both my first and last sessions with her that she had no idea why I was there. [...] I was appalled at her unwillingness to take me seriously and frankly, her seeming lack of compassion.

I went back 2x after initial appt. to follow up with Dr. Wong. Neither of these appts. were necessary. Dr. Wong was not clear about her role in my care. Actually, she was quite rude to me!

I was in for a regular check-up appointment and through a series of unfortunate circumstances was extremely late. I understood that I would have to wait just to see if there would be a small spot of time in Dr. Wong' schedule open to do a quick check up. She made time for me, we were cruising through the appointment since her schedule was tight.. but when I just mentioned something in passing as I was getting ready to leave-she jumped on it, asked me some quick questions and did a couple of quick checks and sent me to get an MRI. And she was right, I needed the MRI and to see a surgeon. That quick, with that little time spent with me told me that she knew me and remembered me and knew something was wrong. That is the mark of a [...] good doctor and I appreciate her more than you know. She has helped me and fixed things that needed to be taken care of for years but weren't taken care of or taken seriously by my prior neurologists. She is a blessing to me. Her staff are quick and precise but human and warm real people. I look forward to going to this office and seeing Dr. Wong and her people.

[...] She was short and rude to her assistant at the desk as well. Her assistant was very nice and accommodating. I was very upset by the time we left, after being treated to rudely! I think Dr Wong is a brilliant neurologist but her "bedside manner" is horrible! We all have bad days, perhaps she was having one, BUT her behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable!

I especially appreciate Dr. Wong's explaining natural supplements, something that can be a bit overwhelming with all the options available.

I am hard of hearing. Even with aids I had trouble hearing her. Soft voice and accent contributed.
