Patient Ratings and Comments

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Dr. Tomski began the consultation by telling me that he would refer me to a different physiatrist (which was appropriate given my cancer history) but that he would perform [...] at this visit and future ones. He did not spend much time discussing my complex history [...] or my current condition and the transition to hands-on treatment felt abrupt. [...] While I appreciate the referral to the onco-physiatrist and I think Dr. Tomski did his best to help me, I will not be returning for more sessions with him. In future I would recommend that he simply refer patients in similar circumstances.

I have never had a doctor who is so caring. He generally seemed very concerned about my problem and wanted to make sure he had addressed any issues that I had.
