Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Doctor did not ask is there anything that is bothering you? She didn't want to hear any new issues and told me I have to come back another time.

YES, we even discussed my recent cataract surgery and the need for me to have annual eye checks with my ophthalmologist. She always demonstrates that she cares for me a whole person. [...]

There is a quality spectrum for physicians that spans from uncaring and clinical to almost like a member of your family. Dr. Spence is at the later end.

I liked the fact that the provider was not just focused on the symptoms and suggesting medication right away as the first option but tried to gain an overall picture to suggest possible alternatives.

From the moment she stepped in, I felt I was seen as the stupid kid [...] She used a sarcastic tone and language implying that I did not do my research and did not fully listen to my answer before passing judgement. I make choices in my life for a reason and after much contemplation. She did not give me the time of day to make this clear to her. Very rude, unprofessional, and unkind. I will never see this woman again and will be sure not to recommend her to anyone else.
