Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

This was a follow up for a bone density test. Dr. Shuhart was great. He did a great job in explaining about my scans, answered all my questions and made an excellent recommendation on how I can increase my daily calcium intake. Overall a very positive experience.

Dr. Shuhart is very sensitive to the needs of his patients. Always available (via email) to take time to answer your questions. If the scheduling desk is unwilling to help make an appt, he personally does it. Wish more doctors were like Dr Shuhart

Dr. Shuheart is a very nice and experienced doctor. Though this is our first time to visit him, his professional advice about my Mom's treatment has impressed us a great deal. Thank him very much to make my Mom feel confident about her treatment. [...]

I was scheduled for an hour and since we started late, I think my time might have been cut short. That said, Dr. Shuhart was efficient. He did seem a tad rushed at the end of our appointment. That seems to be the modus operandi now of all health care providers. Knowing this, I came prepared with a list of questions. Had I not, we probably would not have been able to cover as much ground as we did.

This nurse needs training in listening to patients - she did not listen when I said I was done for the day after 3 sticks, and attempted another stick above the 3rd attempt, very painful & still they didn't get any blood for the test!
